If you’re looking for an online retail store carrying a huge range of Nine West shoes, then it is hard to go past Zappos.
Nine West’s extremely popular Barbe heel has been discontinued for a few years, but it has been replaced by a very similar pump called Flax. This shoe has Nine West’s famous cushioned footbed and a 3.5 inch heel, making it a popular work pump.
You’re looking at Austin by Nine West, a two and a half inch pump that’s currently topping Amazon.com’s bestseller list for high heels. The shoe is also wildly popular at Zappos.com where it has received over 250 reviews.
One reason that this shoe has been so well received is no doubt its work-friendly heel height (2.5 inches). The padded footbed and soft, flexible sole also combine to make this a shoe that reviewers are raving about when it comes to both comfort and style.
The Austin pointed toe pump is available in 14 different color schemes and patterns ranging from the gold multi-fabric seen above to a standard black work pump (see more pics below). This office-ready staple retails from Zappos.com for between $55.99 and $69, depending on the color you choose.
Check out some different color variations for this pump below, and see all nine different colors at Zappos.com.
Footwear behemoth Nine West recently launched a six month collaboration with Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini, the two best friends and co-owners of the Soho boutique Kirna Zabete.
The idea of the collection revolves around how you get dressed every month by mood, and for every one of the six months Sarah and Beth have designed a high heel, mid-heel, flat and flip flop. Although the two best friends have never designed shoes before, they have worked closely with Nine West to produce luxury shoes that can nonetheless retail for around the $150 mark.
For March, the theme is the Urban Warrior and the high heel is the jois paper bag sandal (above). This bondage-inspired high heel can be used to add a touch of tough to a girlie outfit, or could be part of an all-leather femme fatale getup. It features a lace-up leather heel with a gathered “paper bag” detail at the ankle. The heel is 4½” high, with a ½” platform and it retails for $169.
Also available for March is this leather wrapped stiletto, the 4″ Sophi Bondage Heel. “Now is the time to make that aggressive fashion statement for spring,” said Sarah when launching this heel.
The Kirna Zabete + Nine West collaboration began February with the fluffy fantasy offering above. The heel is designed to be fluffy and sexy, with the hope that it attracts somebody to keep the wearer warm. “New clothes are in the stores, but it is still winter so we designed shoes that lift your spirits,”says Beth.
The collaboration is available from ninewest.com, Kirna Zabete’s Soho boutique, kirnazabete, com, as well as select online partners. We’ll be featuring more heels from the collection at highheelsdaily.com in coming months.
