What’s not to love about these new leather d’Orsay pumps which have just landed at heels.com? The pumps have a 4 inch heel, and are perfectly positioned in the market at $99.99. The d’Orsay side cut-out and gold toe vamp are great features, and the heels are from respected label Guess.
**UPDATE, April 2018: these heels are unfortunately no longer available (they were on the market in 2014). This article has been updated to reflect this and the dead links removed.**
You can pick up a pair from heels.com, where this heel has just landed in metallic gold leopard print, dark blue suede and medium red suede, all only $99.99.
It’s coming into party season, and what could be cuter than channelling your inner Paris in a pair of open block pink wedges?
(UPDATE: July 2018: unfortunately both these shoes are no longer available and the links below have been removed. If they become available again this page will be updated.)
This two tone design from Sheikh Shoes is on sale for only $22.99 per pair, a discount of 67%.
The strappy heel has a mixture nude and neon fuchsia upper straps, a comfortable cushioned insole and a wedge height of 5.75 inches atop a platform of 1.75 inches. That’s a net rise of 4 inches on a solid base, both pretty and practical for the holiday season.
If you prefer your strappy sandals to be pink all over, then AMI Clubwear has a bargain at hand. This 6 inch heel with 2 inch platform is only $39.99, and is perfect for any party. The peeptoe shoe also has a cushioned footbed for comfort and promises to add pop wherever its worn.

The Olivia by Qupid is a striking new faux leather ankle bootie with a killer 6 inch heel and an equally snazzy price tag. In black or camel, this boot is new to heels.com for only $59.99, with free second day shipping and returns.
The vital details of the Olivia are:
6 inch heel with a 2 inch hidden platform
on-trend buckle fastener plus zip
upper made from black or camel (brown) faux leather
lug sole for arse-kicking traction whether marching through snow or dodging bodies on the dance floor
We poured a lot of love on Sergio Rossi’s butterfly high heels earlier this year, but $1,150 is a lot of money for a pair of shoes. If you’d like the butterfly look but without the designer shoe price tag then bargain site Milanoo has the goods for you. The retailer has a whole range of butterfly heels for the reasonable price of $59.98 per pair. However, we have even better news because right now these stilettos are available for only $35.99 – that’s 40% off!
The shoes have a 4.5 inch heel and are available at the discount price in both purple and yellow. There’s even better news right now from Milanoo too: to celebrate the site’s 6th birthday they’re doing free shipping site-wide on all orders totalling over $119.
If you like the butterfly look but would prefer an open-toed shoe, then this look is also available from Milanoo for $35.99. These pretty sandals are available in a pink and silver combination (shown above) and also in a yellow and white mixture and a red and green one (pictures below).
A couple of months ago we profiled new Australian brand Jaspa King, a label specialising in high-quality heels in an affordable price bracket. Right now, those prices are more affordable than ever as Jaspa King is having a mid-season clearance sale with up to 50% off many of its shoes. They include the lavender patent New York heel which is reduced from AU$299 to AU$149.50.
A price reduction like that is enough to make this shoe our high heel bargain of the week. For more deals like this, see our bargains category.
Cork seems to come and go as a shoe fashion trend (the move towards huge cork platform wedges in 2012 is not sorely missed), but heart-on-your-heel shoe label Luichiny has come up with a cork beauty that is truly contemporary. It’s also reasonably priced, and a whole lot of fun.
The shoe is called Hot Springs by Luichiny and it is on sale from Zappos for $60.99 (a saving of nearly 25% on the regular price of $79.99). This fun, flirty sandal has an ankle wrap with tie closure sitting on top of a narrow 5.75 inch stiletto (2 inch platform). It’s available in red and black patterns and shipping is free.
A little while back we featured a whopping pair of 12 inch heels on 6 inch platforms, asking whether the 12 inch heel was going to be the next big thing. One thing they sure were was expensive: the price was in the hundred of dollars.
Today’s shoe bargain has almost as much height but none of the price tag. They’re 8 inch heels sitting on 4 inch platforms with a peep toe and ankle strap.
I do like a shoe that makes me laugh, and by that I mean makes me laugh in a good way. We feature our measure of “ha ha” shoes on this website (those that should have would-be wearers saying “HTF am I meant to walk in those” for instance) and probably too many laughable price tags (my personal favourite being the Kanye West x Giuseppe Zanotti heels which cost nearly $6,000 and were dog-ugly anyway). But I am not talking about any of that.
The smile-invoking shoes that are on my radar today are a pair of fun platforms highlighted by bright red lipstick kisses on the front of each shoe. The absurdity that kiss marks would actually end up on the front of a pair of stilettos simply amuses me (I accept there are no doubt countless websites to visit if you want to see women kissing each other’s shoes, but they are not this one). That and the fact that bright-red lipstick kisses usually mean “fun” and “party” (occasionally they may mean “mentally disturbed middle-aged aunt who lives alone” but I’m not going there) makes them worth celebrating.
It may even be that the decorative marking on these heels is not a kiss but a pair of lips. In which case, these are the heels that grin back at you. Whatever. Anyhow the shoes have a price tag of $52.95 from StylishPlus, which should bring a smile to anyone’s face. That low price also makes these shoes our High Heel Bargain of the Week.
Our high heel bargain of the week isn’t supposed to involve much analysis, and this post sure doesn’t. But if we can bring a smile to your dial on an otherwise dreary Monday with a pair of cheap and cheerful high heels then we’ll consider our job done.
Today’s offering in that respect are a pair of mint platform double Mary Janes! They sound like an ice cream and they’re probably as much fun. Also good is the price tag: the newly released Mary Janes are $29.99 from Ami Clubwear, making them our bargain of the week. The shoes have a 5 3/4 inch heel with a 1 3/4 inch platform.
