The number one requirement for a pair of women’s wedge sandals is that they be comfortable.
Comfort is king, as they say, or perhaps queen. But it is not negotiable either way.
Which leads to one conclusion.
If Crocs are the most comfortable footwear ever, and Crocs are making wedges, then why wouldn’t the Crocs wedge sandals be the most comfortable of all time?
To find out, I took the plunge and ordered a pair of Crocs Brooklyn Low Wedges from Amazon (affiliate link).
My first impression was that these shoes are as lightweight as they look. Putting a pair of Brooklyn Low Wedges on, they offered all the comfort of a Croc – the foam footbed is famous for a reason.
One reason these wedges are every bit as comfortable as flat crocs is that they’re not very angled. The platform is 1 1/4 inches at the toe, and 1 1/2 inches at the heel.
That’s a rise of only 1/4 of an inch over the whole shoe. They’re a wedge heel not a flatform, but only just. I really couldn’t much tell the difference to be honest.
Still, for support, stability and comfort it is hard to go wrong. The Brooklyn Low Wedges by Crocs are not cheap but you’re paying for the technology that it seems like half the world wears on their feet at some time or another.
Introduced in 2019, the Croc wedges have already received over 10,000 reviews on Amazon where you can shop a pair today. Images of the full color range are available there too.
