Name that shoe: who designed Shakira’s heel-less shoes?

Name that shoe - Shakira's high heelsIf you watch Shakira’s Addicted to You video closely, you’ll see glimpses of some very high, heel-less t-bar sandals. Our question for you today is: who designed them?

These shoes have black patent  straps and a light gold mirror-effect sculpted wedge. The high wedge heel has a curved effect rising to a height of nearly 7 inches on top of about a 2 inch platform.

Described by their designer as “veritable works of art and a must-have for any self-respecting fashionista” these cut out wedge sandals worn by Shakira are designed by Guiseppe Zanotti. They’re available in limited sizes from the Zanotti website or via Farfetch.

Name that Shoe: Miranda Kerr at the Met Gala

Most of the ladies on the red carpet at this week’s gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City opted for long glamorous gowns for the occasion. Model and new mommy Miranda Kerr, however, went with a fun and flirty short dress that made her stand out from the crowd. She paired the bride-like dress with a pair of edgy Nicholas Kirkwood booties. The phenomenon that is Nicki Minaj is a whole lot more than just music. The rapper/singer’s over-the-top style plays a huge part in what makes her memorable. So when designers turn out outrageous shoes, she’s one of a handful of celebs you can expect to give them a go. That’s the “Dvea” patent leather sandal by Versace. Nicki Minaj wears a black pair with pastel green heels. This same pair is available at Farfetch.com for around $950. Name That Shoe! Michelle Williams in Marie Claire

Actress Michelle Williams appears in the February 2011 issue of Marie Claire looking colorful and happy. The look above is characteristic of the spread, which is full of a bright meets sheer combo. Name that Shoe: Gwyneth Paltrow at GMA

Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is seen here leaving morning TV program “Good Morning America” in New York City this week. The star is currently promoting her movie “Country Strong” and has been hitting the media circuit hard. Seen outside, the actress looks cozy-chic in a big, fur-trimmed jacket with black tights and platform wedge boots. The look is a lot more glam on camera, featuring a sleeveless red leather dress. Name that Shoe! Selena Gomez at the Grammy Nominations Concert

Last week actress/singer Selena Gomez was among the celebs to present the nominations for next year’s Grammy awards. The young star was impeccably chic and a flowing, strapless cocktail dress and printed shoes. Though the dress was nice, it was really the shoes that made the look.
