Golden Globes 2011: Best-Heeled List

Awards season is still charging on and this past weekend we were treated to the #2 on the totem pole show – the Golden Globes. The Academy Awards are, of course, the head honcho in the red carpet style candy department. But since the Oscars don’t take place for another month and some change, the Globes give us just the right amount of glamor to tide us over. Here’s our list of the even’s Best-Heeled celebs. Above, Olivia Wilde plays a dark princess in a sparkling black gown with full skirt, complemented by the spiky “Briget’s Back” booties by Christain Louboutin.

Leighton Meester adds some glamour to her bohemian chic dress. The long sleeves and shine-free fabric are rare on the red carpet, but that’s what makes her stand out. Plus, she was sure to add sparkle with her “Zafira” Jimmy Choo heels.

Heidi Klum does Marc Jacobs pround wearing both dress and shoes from the designer’s Spring 2011 collection. Hers was one of very few patterned gowns of the evening. It’s a look that, with flat shoes, might even be considered casual. But the strappy platform sandals make sure that’s not the case here.

Like Heidi, Halle Berry shows us all that being a mom in your 40s in no way means that you can be the height of sexy. For the Globes the actress went full throttle in her bombshell mode with super short mini dress masquerading on a long gown. The look was all about skin and her barely-there strappy sandals acheived their purpose perfectly.
