We receive a lot of requests about buying 6 inch single sole high heels online. These are the most extreme form of 6 inch heels because they do not have a platform.
This guide sets out the best sites on the internet – large and small – that are selling 6 inch single sole heels, bedroom shoes and fantasy stilettos.
You can find them all below.
Our guide was last updated in 2023 and is regularly reviewed. For more about the changes, please see the bottom of this article.
AliExpress
Our go-to site for pumps such as the 6 inch single sole black ones featured here is AliExpress (affiliate link).
The world of 6 inch pumps has changed so much. Now the standard approach is to buy from a direct-to-consumer retailer in China, rather than go through a speciality retailer (whether online or bricks and mortar).
No site has the wide range of 6 inch heels that AliExpress does. It’s as simple as that.
Fuss Shoes
German label Fuss Shoes has been operating as a specialist retailer of classical high heels since 1996. Fuss produces and styles its shoes in its homeland, but many are made in Italy.
The label has a huge range of pumps, boots, sandals and mules all with six inch heels or higher.
Featured here are an Italian made pair of red, single-sole ankle strap pumps available through Fuss Shoes for €134.99. The stilettos have a 6 inch heel in sizes 37 and 38 and even higher in larger sizes (details on the site).
Changes for 2023
Since our 6 inch heel guide was created back in 2014, many retailers of these specialist shoes have come and gone and the guide has been updated to reflect this.
In 2023, we sadly said goodbye to long-established LA retailer Pierre Silber which has gone out of business.
We have also removed Amazon from our guide to buying 6 inch heels online this year. This is because that site does not currently have any 6 inch single sole heels available for purchase.
Italian Heels, a website which you can still reach by searching, has also been removed from our buying guide. This site is a long established retailer which hand-makes all its shoes in Italy.
We’ve ordered from them before and back then could vouch not only for the quality of the workmanship but also the quality of the presentation: our order was promptly shipped in a perfect, quality white shoebox.
Sadly though it does not appear that the website has been given a refresh since about 2003. And the site is not at a secure (https) address. For that reason, we’ve deleted them from this list.
Finally, we have removed China-based Milanoo from our recommendations. Our experiences (which were a few years back now) are that the heels that we ordered arrived just fine.
However many more recent reviews are not as good and too many people want to know whether Milanoo is legit or not or whether it is safe. So we are concerned that they may have gone downhill in recent years and no longer recommend them here
If you have any recommendations for further sites where these towering, gloriously impractical heels can be bought please contact us and we’ll add them to this guide.
