Stella! Boots!

Once known only for her famous father, Sir Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney is now a celebrity in her own right thanks to her incredible fashion design skills. A long-time vegetarian, Stella has made sure that her fashion designs reflect her ethics, and all shoes she designs are vegan, which is great news for vegans, animals, and the environment.

Stella McCartney offers a range of boots from which to select, which is welcomed by vegan fashionistas since stylish vegan boots can be somewhat difficult to find. The Avedon bootie is a great choice: made of faux leather and faux suede, the interior yellow lining offers a peek of colour. Grey covers the top of the foot and the three-inch heel, ankle strap, and ankle area are in black. The strap also has a small gold buckle.

The Korda boot is available in three different styles: two are tall and one is short. All three are in black faux suede with a clog-inspired 4” wooden heel and studding around the sole. The tall Korda knee-high boot can be slouched for casual outfits. The Napa Korda boot appears to have a tighter faux suede body which can also be slouched. The short Korda boot goes slightly higher than ankle length.

With a heel height of almost 4 inches, the Bresson ankle bootie in a buttery camel colour is a shoe that will carry you through the season, and the v-shaped cuts on each side of the foot will extend the shoe’s wearability into the next season. The skinny ankle strap has a tiny gold buckle. The heel is separated from the body of the shoe with a white detail area which is a unique touch.

Shoes are available on Stella McCartney’s website, but sizes can be limited, so you may be better served by shopping in person.
