Two sexy blade high heels that make the cut

The lethal blade heel continues to cut and thrust its way through the latest collections. This is Cesare Paciotti’s offering for Spring / Summer 2013, a patent leather peep toe in black and gold. That deadly blade heel is almost 5 inches high (that’s 12cm in the metric system) with a slight platform of just under half an inch (1 cm).

The Cassia blade heel peep toe was available in 2013 from Cesare Paciotti’s website for $1,040 (shipping included) but is no longer for sale.

The most famous purveyor of the blade heel right now is probably Casadei. We’ve earlier covered the blade pump so beloved of celebrities, but the brand also make these blade heeled stiletto sandals. That thin dagger of a metal heel is 5 inches high and the upper is 100% calfskin leather.

In 2013 Casadei’s 120mm glossy patent blade heeled sandals were available from Luisaviaroma.com for $850, with free shipping. They’re no longer available but you can read all about the Blade heel in our tribute to this famous shoe.
